The Lions Club of Darien is proud to recognize two outstanding McIntosh County seniors as recipients of our 2025 Community Service Scholarships. Each student has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship in honor of their dedication to serving the community and exemplifying the values of the Lions Club.

Robert has demonstrated a strong and consistent commitment to community involvement through his volunteer work with the McIntosh County Recreation Department and his participation in numerous local events. His service includes:
Trunk or Treat
McIntosh Luminaries
Christmas Parade
Kids Fun Days
Family Fun Nights
Bingo events and more
This fall, Robert will attend Georgia Southern University, where he plans to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Branden has shown leadership and service in a variety of impactful ways, including:
Serving as a "Page for a Day" during a Georgia State Legislative session
Participating in sugar cane planting and harvesting on Sapelo Island
Active involvement in the Mast Gamechangers program promoting healthy youth habits
Volunteering at several local events throughout McIntosh County
Branden will be attending Clemson University in South Carolina, where he will major in Biology.
